Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better. Cause I’m Smarterer?

You may be asking yourself…. “Did this blogger just say SMARTERER?” Yes, I did. As stated before, #imabuzzagent. And the newest campaign I’ve joined is for Smarterer.

This is great for college students, business professionals, or anyone who thinks they are internet/business savvy. Smarterer is a social media platform allowing all us internet junkies to one-up each other on how much we really know about the web.

It doesn’t stop there.

After fumbling around the site for a while, I realized that the internet wasn’t the only thing I could test myself on. There are tons of topics ranging from marketing to finance to games. (Hello! Who wouldn’t want to say they are the smartest Angry Birds player out there.)

I used to consider myself a pretty knowledgeable person of these things but after a 30-min test session on Smarterer, I soon realized I didn’t know squat! I mean, my scores weren’t low, but I certainly scratched my head all the way through. :)

The best part of learning that I didn’t know much, was that I had room to grow and learn new things. It’s a collaborative environment so others like me can add questions and input for the greater good of the internet obsessed community.

And everyone likes friendly competition every now and then right?!

I totally think that if you have down time you should sign up! Its free and its super quick. And as a BONUS. They make it super easy to show-off your scores by making this awesome badge just for you.

Unemployed College Graduates!

Ever since I was 5 I’ve been busting my butt off trying to be the best of the best…. or at least the best version of myself that I can be. I was in honors classes, I was in all the clubs, I played sports, and I found out real early what I wanted to be when I grew up. I would say that I am as ambitious as the next person if not more. And none of that seems to matter because…

UNEMPLOYMENT IN AMERICA IS OFF THE CHARTS!

As college students, we sweat, bleed, and cry our way to degrees. All the sleepless nights, bills left unpaid, and loans accumulated are supposed to be a small point and time in our lives because when we graduate we are supposed to be on our way to GREATNESS.

I recently moved from home to a new place thinking that I could make a fresh start and get my foot in the door somewhere. Five months later I am still working part-time, minimum wage, retail. Talk about being unsatisfied. I want more from life! Way more. I’m passionate, creative, and eager.

To whomever it may concern in the U.S. Government, Big Corps, and Small businesses that can’t afford to hire…WE NEED JOBS.

My Time Is [NOW]

Hey… What are those kids doing?!

I’ve just stumbled upon an awesome program for high school students.

What is EPI?

It stands for the Ecology Project International. It’s a student exchange program that focuses on field science and conservation. These students go to Montana, Mexico, Costa Rica, and the Galapagos Islands to learn about and get involved with major conservation problems first hand.

So Why is EPI Awesome?

It’s no secret that planet Earth hasn’t been treated very well over time. With pollution, global warming, and other harmful variables, the importance of field science and conservation is more crucial than ever. This program is helping people be more conscious of their part in making the world a better place by hands on interaction with the places in danger and the people and wildlife affected by it.

Who can Participate in EPI?

The program is geared toward high school age students..BUT, taking care of the environment is a joint effort by people of all ages so they do offer family trips so that everyone can participate.

What is EPI up to Now?

FUNDRAISING. Right around the corner is EPI’s annual fundraiser. There will be a silent auction to raise money for the cause. Wine, cheese, and desserts will be available at the event.

Where: Gallery 16 in San Fransisco, CA

When: Thursday, September 29, 2011 6-9pm
