Economic Woes

It has just occurred to me, as a recent college grad, that the idea of starting a CAREER is far fetched. Being broke doesn’t allow you to do that. All you can do is find a JOB. Get those bills paid, get those loans paid, get the IRS off you’re back. You have to put your dreams and what you’ve worked so hard for on the back burner and continue to grind just to feed yourself. Even though I am doubtful and beaten, I look every day for a CAREER, knowing all I can do is get a 2nd JOB.

Unemployed College Graduates!

Ever since I was 5 I’ve been busting my butt off trying to be the best of the best…. or at least the best version of myself that I can be. I was in honors classes, I was in all the clubs, I played sports, and I found out real early what I wanted to be when I grew up. I would say that I am as ambitious as the next person if not more. And none of that seems to matter because…

UNEMPLOYMENT IN AMERICA IS OFF THE CHARTS!

As college students, we sweat, bleed, and cry our way to degrees. All the sleepless nights, bills left unpaid, and loans accumulated are supposed to be a small point and time in our lives because when we graduate we are supposed to be on our way to GREATNESS.

I recently moved from home to a new place thinking that I could make a fresh start and get my foot in the door somewhere. Five months later I am still working part-time, minimum wage, retail. Talk about being unsatisfied. I want more from life! Way more. I’m passionate, creative, and eager.

To whomever it may concern in the U.S. Government, Big Corps, and Small businesses that can’t afford to hire…WE NEED JOBS.
